Hi Sandi,

Ya know, I had not felt motivated to investigate one more author or topic of this sort until I read your downloads quoted by Byron Katie. I am so glad I did!

Ironically, I was just having a conversation yesterday that involved a comment of how "three brothers" were different & viewed the same topic. By stating that each passed a pile of horse manure, one stops to stick his finger in & proclaims his thought of it being so; another has it sent to a lab to analyse it & have it confirmed such & another see's it, & just proclaims it so. Between sarcastic humor shared over the little analogy, my added thought was that these "three" were still from one side of the coin & the flip side would be one whom observes this & finds it useful in some manner (such as fertilizer) and another may see it, but there is no thought given & merely passes by it.

In essence, the idea I was attempting to convey is our other opportunities we have with the challenges in life (including "challenging people/personalities") is to find the good anyway to maintain our own state of peace or simply not give anytime to it & thus not attach an emotional charge that will upset our internal peace of mind.

hah! I just find some things humerously ironic in timing, is all.

I love the work & key questions used. I have found (maybe due to lack of regular application/practice) that when applying these to concerns/memories &/or issues (just speaking of myself), that there are occassions when I do not come to the final question, so to speak.
In other words, I do not believe I always get beyond the "mental analysis" of the topic & then find it becomes unclear altogether.
Did that make sense? ;0}

Thanks for your sharing!
Blessings,
Jodi
