Wow, didn't you get some great responses and how each provides, as you say, a unique piece of wisdom!

The only thing I would add, that is different to the reply posts you have is the fact that the mind and body are interlinked our state mentally is directly linked with our state physically. Ever noticed how after moving your body be it a walk, run, aerobics or simply being busy, gets your mind energised? If you want your mind to get moving, get energised and to loose the lerthargy - consider moving physically. May sound a little to straight forward or a different way of looking at becoming motivated but I can speak from personal experience it certainly works for me. If after a run or a brisk walk I still find the subject matter/task demotivating I know I need to look inward and see if the task/subject matter is really right for me.
