First of all, I want to offer congratulations on moving forward in your life. It takes courage and strength to step out of your comfort zone and move forward.

In my experience coaching singles, I have found that there are two major areas of work that need to be done. The first one is who am I and what do I have to offer and the second one is what exactly am I looking for in a partner.

There are many exercises you can do to work on the first step of figuring out who you are and what you have to offer. One exercise is to write down all of the positive qualities that you have. If you are having trouble with this, start with simple things such as "I have beautiful straight hair", etc. Reread your list everyday and add to it as you think of things.

The thing about self-esteem is that I can tell you all day that you are beautiful and worthy of love, but you are the one who needs to feel it. You need to love yourself.
