If you are having trouble following through with things, I would start by examining the activity.
- Do you really want to do it?
- Is there a way to take care of it w/o doing it yourself?
- Do you just feel obligated?
- Do you have trouble saying NO?
If the answer is that you just can't say no, then you need to learn how to set boundaries. You need to start treating yourself the way you want to be treated. This is sometimes a life-long learning.
If the answer is that you really want to start the project, then you will need to figure out what is holding you back. Do you feel overwhelmed? Would it help to break down the project into smaller steps?
